-- Current Events --
We are studying the Gospel of Luke
during our Sunday morning class:
"That thou mightest know the certainty
of those things, wherein thou has been instructed."
Luke 1:4
Pastor Treadwell is preaching through Paul's letter to the Romans during worship services while on alternate Sundays Brother Sharpes is going through the "tion's" of the Christian's vocabulary covering, so far, redemption, adoption, justification and sanctification.
Dr R.C. Sproul leads our Sunday evening studies with
"The Drama of Redemption."
We continue studying the Pentateuch on Wednesday evenings, now in Deuteronomy.
See the "Services" page for more details. Being updated on that page is a link to the Scriptures and topics which have preached along with the accompanying hymns we've sung since mid-2001.
-- Our New Pianist! --
Hurricane Katrina changed many lives when it came ashore, one of them being Makiko Kimura, a Japanese pianist studying for her Master's degree in Performing Arts at Loyola University. By the providence of our God, she transferred to the University of New Mexico to continue her studies and is now playing the piano for the Sunday morning worship service. In a recent student competition, her solo performance of Gershwin's "Rhapsody in Blue" resulted in the opportunity to play it this fall with the UNM Orchestra. We are pleased and delighted for her and have begun looking for a baby grand piano to replace the stiff-keyed upright now being used.
-- Christmas 2005 Celebrated --
We once again celebrated the birth of our Savior with a service of Lessons and Carols. Following the model of the King's College service, we opened with Cecil Francis Alexander's "Once in Royal David's City." Then, alternating carols with readings from the Old and New Testament, we traced the promises of our covenant-keeping God from the Garden to the Gospels.

Be sure to explore the Devotionals link. You will find "Morning and Evening" by Spurgeon as well as "Faith's Checkbook" a great source of blessing. Also, there is a link to Martin Lloyd Jones' "A First Book of Daily Readings," brief excerpts from his many works. The works of John McArthur are also included with a link to the "Grace to You" web site and the "Devotions with John" page published there. We have found two other sources for daily devotionals and are working to incorporate their links. We are confident your soul will be refreshed.
We continue to explore the possibility of a radio ministry. Should it become a reality, it will truly be of the Lord.
"Not unto us, O LORD, not unto us,
but unto thy name give glory,
for thy mercy, and for thy truth's sake."
Psalm 115:1
